Are you new to the Symphony? If so, don't worry! Even though the Cedar Rapids Symphony performs many concerts and has much information to offer, this Web site is easy to use. Just read the following and you will be on your way!
In each season, the concerts are organized into series packages that are defined by the style of music performed - Masterworks, Pops, Chamber, Discovery, Anytime and Sampler. See Concert Series for more details. In some series, such as Pops Series, there are multiple dates in which the concert is performed. Therefore, when you purchase a series package, remember to specify which day you prefer on your order form.
We have included information on each series and the individual concerts within the series. In addition, you can find information about season and single ticket prices as well as a seating chart.
A CRSO subscriber is someone who enjoys the experience of listening to exceptional music performed by the best symphony Eastern Iowa has to offer. A subscriber is also someone that purchases a package of symphony tickets and saves up to 30% off of the regular ticket price.
There are six pre-formatted series in the 2007-2008 concert season. The series are made up of anywhere from two to seven concerts each. See Season Tickets for more information. With a series ticket purchase, you will receive one ticket for each concert in the chosen series.
Included in the pre-formatted packages are two opportunities to "make your own series." The Sampler series allows you to reserve seats for four concerts of your choice. The Anytime Package gives you six coupons that may by redeemed for best available seating for most concerts. See Season Tickets for more information.

Savings
- By purchasing season tickets, subscribers can save up to 30% off the price of regular single tickets; senior citizens and students save even more.
- New subscribers can receive 25% off their first Masterworks Series purchase.
- Kids Go FREE! to all seven Masterworks concerts with the purchase of an adult season ticket in the second balcony. *Exclusions apply. Please see Season Tickets for more details.
- Bring your children to the Pops Series Sunday matinees for FREE with an adult season ticket purchase. *Exclusions apply. Please see Season Tickets for more details.
- Subscribers do not pay extra for premium aisle seats.
- You will have the first opportunity to renew these seats or upgrade the following year.
- Subscribers are allowed to purchase additional single tickets on week prior to the general public - which means a better selection!
- All subscriber tickets will be mailed in August 2007; subscribers will not have to wait in line at the Box Office the day of the concert.
Flexibility
- If you are unable to use your tickets, you can exchange them for another performance or donate them back to the symphony as a tax-deductible donation. Exchanges may not be made into Holiday Pops.
- Tickets can be exchanged up to the Thursday before a performance.
- If you are a snowbird or tightly scheduled, you can choose between two flexible season packages including the Sampler Series or the Anytime Package. For more information see Season Tickets.
